Video Upload Application

Many cities are finding ways to leverage the internet and find ways to provide a web environment that will:

        • make residents feel at home while surfing their city's web site
        • make available the viewing of meetings
        • attract businesses to relocate or do business
        • attract visitor to the downtown area for tourist attractions or shopping

One way of doing this is to have each city executive create a video taking directly to their specific audience of choice.  Normally this requires a web developer to create the proper programming to make these videos work on a web site.  The Revize Video Upload Template is a Revize enabled web page template that allow non-technical content editors to easily upload these videos for use on the city web site no matter if the video format is in a Flash movie or Windows Media Player format (.wmv and .swf).  When a web visitor selects the video screen shot or Subject Title of the video, the template selects the correct media player console and immediately plays the video for the web visitor.
