Overview: The Revize Web Calendar Application provides a fully interactive web calendar that is easy to update with an intuitive interface your users will appreciate. By combining the power of a frequently updated web site with the Revize Web Calendar Application,organizations affordably turn their web site presence into a two way communication channel to educate web visitors and allow them to participate in the events that are relevant to their interests, sign up to participate or communicate to others that may be interested in the event. The Revize Web Calendar Application allows you to promote your events much more affordably than any direct mail or telemarketing can ever obtain. Purpose: The Revize Web Calendar Application is a web application that enables others to see events in a calendar format. Departments can have their own calendar choose what events to roll up to a master calendar or other department calendars. This application works in conjunction with Revize® CMS to enable an organization's Non-Technical Content Editors (Users) to easily add, modify, or delete an event in a way to engage a web visitor's interest.

Overall Description
From the Web Site User/Content Editor Perspective:
This application allows users to see which events are happening in their department, division, or organization on any given day. Users will be able to view events by three different criteria: Day, Week or Month. Users can also add events to the calendar (as permissions are given), or sign-up for events that have been marked as training, seminars, or other sign-up type events.

From the Web Developer Side:
This application allows developers to easily integrate a full-featured calendaring application into their new or existing web site without any programming knowledge. Once set up, the developer/designer of the web site can easily modify the "look and feel" of the calendar application through standard Revize templates and edit forms, just like other pages and applications in their Revize installation. Developers will have the ability to easily integrate the calendar application into their web site by either linking to the calendar application itself or by having a monthly calendar shown on their pages, through an easy to use Revize code snippet. The monthly calendar on the page will link the user to the calendar application and put them inside the date they selected.

Calendar Application Setup:
This Revize application will come packaged, as a compressed folder with everything the customer needs to setup the calendar application into a new or existing Revize webSpace in less then 30 minutes. The compressed folder will include:
a. Calendar Application Revize import file allowing the customer to instantly add the calendar's data tables and templates to their Revize webSpace.
b. Calendar Application edit-forms and reference files.
c. Associated documentation.
